Our Client, a Floriculture Company based in Ruiru is seeking to recruit a The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the 8-Ha expansion of the company by Executing the expansion project plan within the timelines required. The ideal candidate Must have prior experience in the Floriculture sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating construction work with various contractors and consultants onsite and ensuring their work delivered is within the required contract specifications.
- Developing a detailed scheduled (preventative) maintenance plan for all farm equipment and infrastructure for the following departments: production, post-harvest, IPM & sales
- Custodianship of all tools, fuel, PPE and machinery deployed in the expansion area.
- Ensure the electrical fence is in operation at all time so as to have the farm properly protected from trespassers
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Must have 10+ years of experience in facilities maintenance with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Must have experience in the Floriculture sector.
- Ability to thrive while working collaboratively with colleagues, identifying and solving problems independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong work ethic, ability to work in teams, intellectual curiosity, and ability to structure and solve problems.
